This special evening will be a time to reflect on all God has done over the past two decades, celebrate transformed lives, and look ahead with hope for the future.

A Sweet Heart for Serving
This month, one special young lady found a creative way to make a difference.After visiting God’s Resort with her mom this past winter, they both fell in love with our mission and have since become regular volunteers. Their servant hearts have been a blessing to our community, and recently, they took that generosity one step further.
She hosted a neighborhood lemonade stand and chose to donate 100% of the proceeds to God’s Resort! Friends, neighbors, and family stopped by to enjoy lemonade, cookies, and support a cause that has become close to her heart.
Thanks to the incredible support of her community, she raised an amazing $982.50 for God’s Resort! What an incredible accomplishment and a testament to what can happen when one young person chooses to serve with a willing heart.
Moments like these remind us that generosity has no age limit. Whether through volunteering, giving, or simply sharing kindness, every act of love makes an eternal impact.
We are incredibly grateful for this sweet family and for everyone who supported her lemonade stand. Thank you for believing in the mission of God’s Resort and for helping us continue to love and serve families in our community.

The owners of Bug-A-Way have graciously given their services every month for all of our properties including our 42 homes and our two community buildings. We are humbled by the extra help as well when we encounter other pest problems that require their professional help! They are super generous and also very supportive as they encourage our staff as we do a walk through together every month of the God’s Resort properties as they spray!

Exciting Things Are Happening at The Well
There is so much to celebrate at The Well! We are currently blessed to have four wonderful women who have chosen to pursue lasting change. Each day is filled with laughter, learning, and opportunities for growth as they encourage one another and take meaningful steps forward.
Emily is now halfway through the Health and Education Phase of the program. During this phase, she is gaining knowledge and practical life skills in many areas, including personal finance, physical fitness, nutrition, and overall health. She is working hard to build a strong foundation for a healthy, independent future. One of the most exciting signs of her growth is that she is now leading our new residents through the Alpha series, helping introduce them to who Jesus is and encouraging them as they begin exploring their Christian faith. Watching Emily grow from receiving encouragement to leading and discipling others has been a tremendous blessing.
The women are also doing an excellent job at their volunteer sites, The Marketplace and Westgate. Through these opportunities, they are developing valuable job skills, learning the importance of a strong work ethic, and experiencing the satisfaction that comes from serving others faithfully. We are proud of the commitment they have shown and the growth we see in them each day.
Our community continues to grow as we welcome new volunteers who are investing their time and hearts in the women at The Well. Like Robyn, who leads Bible Study on Friday mornings and then transports our Phase 1 ladies to their serve site. Or Susan, who has also been leading Bible Study, graciously opened her home recently for an evening of dinner and swimming. It was a wonderful opportunity for fellowship, fun, and building meaningful relationships.
The women are also becoming involved at Open Door Baptist Church. They have been attending church services and special events, including a recent fish fry, where they have enjoyed genuine fellowship and begun forming lasting connections within the church family. Even more importantly, they are growing in their knowledge of God’s Word and deepening their relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ. It is exciting to watch the lessons they are learning during church services, morning Bible studies, and Bible studies at God’s Resort come together as their faith continues to grow.
Above all else, our greatest desire is to point every woman at The Well to a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe true and lasting transformation is found in Him, and it is our joy to walk alongside these women as they discover the hope, healing, and new life that only He can provide.

We have officially ended camp season.Thanks to the generosity of College Heights’ One Less Gift, we were able to send NINE God’s Resort kids to camp! What an amazing blessing it is to watch our kids fall deeper in love with Jesus. I am so excited to see how God continues to move through the decisions that were made at camp. We are VERY thankful that the same God that is transforming hearts at camp is the same God that transforms lives at outside of camp. He is SO faithful and the kids and teens at God’s resort have a front row seat to watching God transform lives!
During our Sunday Night Bible Study, our kids have been learning more about Biblical Leadership and how to lead like JESUS! Please consider partnering with us in prayer as we continue to encourage them to be godly leaders in their schools.

It’s hard to believe that summer is already nearing its end! We find ourselves reflecting on God’s faithfulness and all He has done at God’s Resort. Every life transformed through recovery, discipleship, and the love of a Christ-centered community is a reason to respond! Worship is our response to God’s grace through surrendered hearts, faithful service, generous giving, and lives changed by His power. As we look back on this season, we are filled with gratitude for the countless ways God has been at work.
We invite you to continue worshiping with us through prayer, service, and community. Whether you’re a worship leader, musician, tech volunteer, or someone who simply loves to praise Jesus, there’s a place for you at God’s Resort.
