The Well is for Women . . .
Director
Amy serves as the Director of God’s Resort – The Well. She has been connected to the ministry in various capacities since 2018, serving on the Board, volunteering, teaching parenting classes, and working as a Life Transition Coordinator. Amy has also worked as a kindergarten teacher, early intervention therapist, and Service Coordinator for First Steps.
She is a homeschool mom of nine children, ages 3 to 23, and has been married to Jarrett for 26 years. Amy loves spending time with her family and church family, and enjoys sewing, crocheting, reading, and biking with her family. She is passionate about the mission of God’s Resort and loves seeing people experience the promises of Jesus, learning to trust Him, and walking in His ways (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Program Manager
Trina serves as the Program Manager at God’s Resort – The Well. Originally from Arkansas, she moved to Joplin in 2011 after sensing God’s call on her family. She is married to Ron and they have one son, Sammy. Her son Deacon is in Heaven, and his impact continues to shape her ministry to women.
Trina’s personal journey—including an abusive first marriage, infertility, and the loss of a child—deepened her faith and fueled her passion to walk alongside hurting women. She holds a BS in Psychology and an MA in Human Services Counseling with a focus on crisis and trauma from Liberty University.
Before joining God’s Resort – The Well, Trina spent five years at Loving Grace, serving in multiple roles and gaining extensive experience in trauma-informed support and nonprofit ministry. She is committed to praising the God “who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble” (2 Corinthians 1:3–4), and she strives to “rejoice with those who rejoice and mourn with those who mourn” (Romans 12:15). Her passion is to stand in the gap for women, sharing Christ’s love and helping them find community, healing, and hope.
Life Transition Coordinator
Stephanie serves as Life Transition Coordinator at God’s Resort – The Well, working one-on-one with women, discipling them in Biblical love and truth, and helping them grow in their relationship with the Lord. Although she grew up with religion and went to a Christian school, she did not fully understand what a personal relationship with Jesus looked like until 2016, after struggling with addiction and the end of her marriage. That year, she moved into a women’s discipleship home, much like The Well, seeking support and freedom from prescription drug addiction. During her stay, she experienced God’s unconditional love and the power of community—people who listened, prayed, and walked with her as she began to heal. This time transformed her life, restored her relationships, and set her on a path of freedom in Christ.
Stephanie is passionate about guiding and encouraging women to encounter Jesus, walk in freedom, and find hope and healing. She enjoys studying God’s Word, connecting with people, hiking, exploring, baking, journaling, and volunteering. She lives in Joplin with her husband, Dan, who works at Watered Gardens.
Life Transition Coordinator
Jamie Myers serves as Life Transition Coordinator for God’s Resort – The Well. She has spent more than 40 years walking alongside others as an educator, counselor, and mentor. She holds teaching and counseling degrees from Pittsburg State University and has served in a wide range of roles, including public classroom teacher, elementary school counselor, crisis pregnancy center trainer and board member, homeschool mom of three, homeschool co-op instructor, classical education tutor, and instructor and program director for a men’s long-term program. Most recently, she has worked as a job readiness instructor and employment coordinator for refugees legally resettling in America.
Jamie finds great joy in seeing the “lightbulb moment” when someone grasps a new concept, life skill, or revelation from God. Her passion is encouraging others to become who God created them to be and believing in them as they walk that out. She looks forward to investing in the ladies who come to The Well and, just as importantly, learning from them along the way. Jamie and her husband, Terry, have been married for 42 years and have three married children and three granddaughters. She holds fast to the truth of Job 13:15, trusting God fully in every season
Administrative Assistant
Shirley serves as Administrative Assistant, supporting the mission and daily operations at God’s Resort and The Well. She grew up on a rural farm in Taney County, the youngest of six children, where her father was a full gospel minister and she sang with her sisters in church. These early experiences, along with challenges in her childhood, shaped her compassion and empathy for teenagers facing struggles.
Shirley and her husband, James, have three children—Veronica, Valerie, and Blake—and five grandchildren. They have also served as foster parents to teenage girls, experiencing both the joys and challenges of fostering. Over the years, Shirley has worked in education, childcare, accounting, city government, and healthcare administration.
Shirley began her journey with Loving Grace in August 2024 and quickly felt deeply connected to its mission. Her faith was further affirmed when visiting God’s Resort on Pearl Street with her son; seeing the blue doors, they both felt God’s peaceful presence. She is excited to serve in this ministry and witness the marvelous ways God will continue to work through it.
House Assistant
Amanda serves as a House Assistant at God’s Resort – The Well, serving as a spiritual mentor and encouraging role model for women. Raised in Cassville, MO, she grew up in church but did not fully understand what it meant to walk in a daily relationship with God. Trying to live life on her own terms led to trauma, heartache, and eventually addiction, until God brought her into a program similar to The Well where He transformed her life, filled her with the Holy Spirit, and revealed the truth of His Word.
For the past nine years, Amanda has felt called to share hope with the brokenhearted. Luke 15:7 was the first scripture that came alive to her, reminding her of heaven’s joy over one repentant heart. She has since shared her testimony through various ministries and most recently served young women at Loving Grace. Now, she is grateful to serve with God’s Resort – The Well.
Amanda is also the proud mom of a handsome 22-year-old son, Drake Reed, and is continually grateful for the Lord’s blessings in her life.
House Assistant
Crystal serves as a House Assistant at God’s Resort – The Well, offering encouragement, stability, and compassionate support to the women in the home. After her life took an unexpected turn in 2022 when she was widowed while raising three children at home, Crystal felt God leading her into a new season of purpose. She returned to school to complete her degrees in psychology and counseling, with a heart to help others understand that they are created in the image of God and that, no matter their story, there is always redemption and hope in Him.
Crystal’s own journey has deepened her empathy and strengthened her desire to walk alongside others with grace and truth. When she is not at work, she can be found doing schoolwork, homeschooling her two remaining daughters at home, or enjoying quieter moments baking, crocheting, and reading. She is grateful to serve at The Well and to be part of a ministry that reflects God’s faithfulness and restoring love.
House Assistant
Y’Cedria serves as a House Assistant at God’s Resort – The Well, walking alongside women as a mentor and encourager, helping them experience the freedom and hope found in Christ. Raised by parents who taught her to live in a way that is pleasing to the Lord, she developed a deep respect for integrity and the importance of upholding truth even when no one is watching. She met her husband in college and fully surrendered
her life to Christ during her freshman year, a decision that transformed her perspective and set her on a path of ministry.
Y’Cedria’s faith became personal and alive when she recognized that the gospel had rescued her from darkness—a gift shared through her husband—and it inspired her to help others discover the freedom only Jesus offers. She has always felt a special tug toward ministry with children and families and delights in seeing Jesus be Jesus, the Great I AM. Her heart is to guide women into encountering Christ, walking in truth, and experiencing the transformative power of His love. Y’Cedria and her husband are raising four daughters and her firstborn’s testimony of overcoming challenges continues to strengthen Y’Cedria’s faith. She and her husband enjoy traveling for ministry, caring for their family, and staying active together. They believe that ministry begins at home, and they treasure time together outdoors, being active, caring for animals, and truly loving one another deeply.
Overnight RA
MeLi serves as a Full-time RA at God’s Resort – The Well, supervising overnights and discipling women through life-on-life mentorship. She first connected with the ministry as a volunteer, preparing meals, staying overnight, and joining the women in Bible study. MeLi surrendered her life to Christ in 2019 after encountering the healing power of God’s Word, and she has been passionate ever since about walking alongside women recovering from trauma and seeking hope, healing, and practical life skills in a safe community.
Originally from Kansas, MeLi has a background in nursing and is a graduate of Pittsburg State University. Through God’s grace, she is the proud mom of two adult children.
