GOD’S RESORT is a Christ-centered and relationship-based transitional housing community exclusively for people seeking the love and support of the body of Christ.

God’s Resort provides clean, safe, affordable housing, as well as a personalized Stability Plan. Relationship-based events offered to the community are to empower residents as they learn and grow.

OUR COMMUNITY

The body of Christ, made up of staff members and faithful volunteers, walk alongside God’s Resort residents offering hope, truth, and encouragement as they commit to a lifestyle that honors God. The programming offers tools for a life of stability, and is designed to teach biblical truths and to foster relationship. Community events include Sunday Night Fellowship, Bible studies, and a weekly worship and prayer meeting.

OUR TEAM

How it started…

In the mid 2000’s, the area around 15th and Pearl was known on the streets as The Last Resort. If someone couldn’t afford to live there, they were sleeping outside, on someone’s couch, or in a shelter. The police were called to the area nearly 100 times a month. It was at this time that God opened a door for His people to show up and share His love. Jay St. Clair and Rob Robertson prayed together and sensed that God was giving The Last Resort a new name – God’s Resort. Since then, God’s Resort has grown to a community of 40 homes, filled with men, women, and children who are receiving an opportunity to experience a healthy Christian community and grow in their faith and overall life stability.

Exciting New Ministry for Women!

The Well at God’s Resort is a long-term discipleship ministry to help women, many of whom have a history of substance abuse, become more rooted in God’s truth and love. We have dedicated a house where these women will live communally in preparation to one day move into a single-family home at God’s Resort. It takes time to heal and grow, and The Well will provide an environment to help these women in their journey toward holistic recovery and freedom in Jesus!
